level 1 Is it better to be good and on time or perfect and late with your work? Best answer - It is a trick question, neither will apply in all cases. If I'm not sure in a specific case, I'll ask. Show that you understand different types of work or projects require different levels of accuracy and timelines, and you will discuss with your manager if you have questions about either. level 1 -why should I hire you? There's been many times where I've had some great answers to this question. Some other times, not so much. Some people start to go into their personal lives. Do not try and guilt trip someone into employment. Try something like- "I'm a dedicated hard worker who is willing to go above and beyond what is needed in my normal routine. I am engaged and eager to learn new ideas and procedures. There's always work to be done while on duty and I'm prepared to get that work done" Don't use negative words even if you're trying to sound positive... "I'm not lazy" Use all positive words and have a proper fuckin resume level 2 You want to hire me because I take pride in what I do.

I loved being in the hospital and working with patients. However pretty quickly I found myself kind of disappointed with the level of depth at which we were learning things. I felt like I was learning the "cliff notes" of medicine, and did not really understand the why behind a lot of the diseases/treatments. I really want to understand things on the cellular level and learn the science behind everything. If some process should be learned like A --> B --> C --> D --> E --> F --> G, as a nursing student I felt like I learned it A --> D --> G. And that really bothered me. I just am someone that wants to learn as much as I can about something. As these concerns festered, I also had an experience during my Women's Health rotation. I got to witness an emergency C-section. The OB/GYN physician was incredible and as corny as it sounds I was just so inspired by her. I was super excited by what she did and ended up shadowing her. I loved that she was an absolute EXPERT on the female reproductive organs/related issues.
I respect this company a lot and feel like I could be a valuable partner with your team and I think this job would be a lot of fun. I'm a quick learner so I can become acclimated to the environment quickly, plus I'm great with people so I can get along with and share ideas with anyone. Toss in some company specific details along the way level 2 I wanted to ask for my first raise, so I called my dad to ask for advice, since he's a) my dad and b) part owner and sales manager of a medium sized company. I said "you know, I just got married and I can really use the money". He said "keep your personal life out of it Even if they like you personally, they don't or at least shouldn't let your personal life interfere with descisions like that. Are you an asset to the company? Do you work harder, better, more efficient? Those are the only questions concerning your raise. " level 2 "I'm a dedicated hard worker who is willing to go above and beyond what is needed in my normal routine. There's always work to be done while on duty and I'm prepared to get that work done" This, always give a generic canned answer like this, it doesn't have to be true.
level 2 But that's not fair. Who knows what will happen in 5 years? That's the kind of question that's going to bring in the most BSers who know how to get in the door and become a nightmare for everyone until they leave. You want bullshitters? Ask generic questions that they've perfected the answer for. level 2 "Where do you see yourself in 5 years? " "Leaving as soon as I have the experience and pass the point of having to pay back the certifications you paid for because the market rate for my job at that point is more than double what you will consider paying me. " Welcome to tech, where you can get 1. 5-4x raises by switching companies, and your company only does a 3% raise each year. level 2 This... The correct answer is "in 5 years I should be the go to member of the group/team/department. I want to be the person you go to when you have a problem and I should know how to fix it"

level 2 It's such an easy question. Go back to the job requirements and explain why you meet them. level 2 Nice, how'd you come up with that one? Please tell me you work at a mom&pop shop, a retail establishment, a restaurant, or some form of unskilled labor. You sound like a moron, but I'll give you a chance. What industry do you work in, and what is your title? level 1 "Where do you see yourself in 5 years? " They didn't really have a hard time answering, but the answer was judged harder than they thought. We used it as a gauge as to how long they saw themselves with the company. How long would they stay before we would just have to replace them? If you are asked this question, a good answer would be to express your desire to move up within the company, hoping that you would be in such-and-such position within 5 years. level 2 Interviewer: where do you see yourself in five years? Me: I see myself moving up and becoming management. Interviewer: I'm the only manager here. Me: oh. Ummm.
Always tell the interviewer exactly what they want to hear. Interviews are just a sales pitch at the end of the day, if you know you can do the job you've just got to sell yourself into the role and then let the results do the talking. The means justify the end, if you can sell yourself you can get just about any job going. After all a career is essentially a business at the end of the day. You're selling your time for money, that's all it is. level 2 and have a proper fuckin resume Why would companies even bother to make an interview with someone if they don't find their resume 'proper'? level 2 What if you don't want to lie, though? level 2 I made a boo boo once because I responded using alliteration. I had pleasant punctual positive and a few more level 2 A good tid bit right here m8 level 2 I one time answered this as, "Because I'm awesome. " They offered me the job. I had lost interest in the job based on the preceding hour of interview, so I was trying to seal the deal on just wrapping up the interview - positive backfire.
